Part 1: Financial Reporting, Planning, Performance, and Control
- Duration: 4 hours
- Number of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs): 100

Part 2: Financial Decision Making
- Duration: 4 hours
- Number of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs): 100
- Number of Essay Questions: 2
Exam Administration:
- Exams are administered at Prometric testing centers in Oman.
- Candidates must register for each part separately and schedule their exams through the Prometric website.
- The exams are computer-based and offered during specific testing windows throughout the year.
Passing Criteria:
- Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 360 out of 500 on each part to pass.
- Scores for each part are scaled based on the difficulty of the questions.
Certification:
- Upon passing both exam parts and meeting the educational and experience requirements, candidates are awarded the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) designation by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
